TRAITS (“itraits.com”) owns and operates this Website.  This document governs your relationship with itraits.com (“Website”).

Access to our products is provided to our customers via this website, and in person at various pop-up store locations. See our “Coming up” section for information. This page explains the terms and conditions which apply to our online customers;  we may change these from time to time.

No guarantee of website access - Although we try hard to provide good service, we can’t guarantee that our website will be accessible. We are not responsible for any loss due to lack of access to our website or if we decide to cease providing this website.

Store Policy

We strive to provide great service and usually ship our orders within 72 hours. If items are out of stock, they normally should be marked as such. If, for any reason, an order cannot be fulfilled, then we will notify you and provide you the choice of a refund or to wait for the item to be restocked. 

The customer is responsible for choosing the proper size item to fit the intended wearer, whether pet or person. For certain items such as harnesses, fit requires specific measurements to be accurate. The customer is responsible for additional shipping caused by improper or missing measurements.

To avoid the inconvenience and expense of returning an item, TRAITS customer service will send a request for confirmation of required measurements. If we have not received such confirmation within 48 hours, the order will be shipped as ordered.

If, for any reason, (i.e., color size fit) the buyer decides to return or exchange items, then the buyer is responsible for return and replacement shipping and possible restocking fees. 

Our items for sale are to be used for their obvious, expressed and intended purpose. We are not responsible for loss or damage if you misuse our products.

Shipping Policy

TRAITS uses a variety of shipping carriers to deliver products including UPS and USPS. 

Unless otherwise indicated at the time of your purchase, shipping and handling fees are included with your order. Shipping dates and/or arrival times are only estimates. If you do not receive your items or if you believe your order is missing or damaged, then you must notify TRAITS within 30 days of date of purchase.

Shipped merchandise claimed as not received is subject to investigation by TRAITS and the shipping carrier. Based on TRAITS investigation, we may offer refund or provide a replacement.

Our Privacy Policy

We care about keeping your personal information private. By providing such information to us when using this website, you grant us permission to retain this information, and to contact you from time to time via email or other means.

We will never sell or otherwise provide your information to a third party. However, we do use third-party services which may utilize your information as a part of financial transactions, such as credit card processing. We are not responsible for the activities of such third parties.


You must not be annoying, hurtful, or cause harm to us or to our customers through this website by any means. Be kind when you comment or correspond. We reserve the right to respond to such behaviors in any way we see fit, including refusing service and forbidding access.

Remember that website cracking (sometimes known incorrectly as “hacking”) is strictly prohibited and may be a serious criminal offense. We will not tolerate abusive, insulting or otherwise offensive comments. We will report any such activity to authorities and will provide your personal information to them if requested.

We are not responsible for any loss or damage caused by a any internet-based attack, viruses, etc., that might affect your devices, applications, or files due to your use of this website or due to your downloading of any material posted on it, or on any website linked to it.

Intellectual Property, Software and Content

We encourage your use of social media to tell others about our products, website and company. You are welcome to use images and text as long as you provide attribution - that is, mention itraits.com when you share. To help you do this, we often provide the website in the image somewhere. You agree not to modify the artwork to remove such watermarks.

This website contains original and licensed copyrighted material. All original art provided on this website and on garments, art prints, and other items, as well as other materials displayed to you via this website remains the property of TRAITS or its licensors and all rights to them are reserved by TRAITS and its licensors. You may store, print and display the content supplied solely for your own personal use. You are not allowed to use our content in connection with any business or commercial enterprise without our expressed permission.

International Shipping Customs Duties and Fees

The customer is responsible for any import/export duties, taxes and fees; for example, VAT in the UK. International shipments are subject to customs duties - taxes imposed on goods when transported across international borders. Customs duties protect each country's economy, residents, jobs, environment, etc., by controlling the flow of goods, especially restrictive and prohibited goods, into and out of the country. For FedEx, UPS, USPS or other carriers refer to their respective websites for up-to-date information.

USPS (our customers most used shipping carrier):

USPS makes the recipient responsible for customs duties and taxes. 

According to the USPS website:

"Post Office facilities must collect a Postal Service fee from the addressee for each item on which customs duty or Internal Revenue tax is collected. The Postal Service fee is authorized by international postal agreements to reimburse the Postal Service for costs it incurs clearing items through customs and collecting customs duties at the time of delivery."


If you are not satisfied with any item, then please contact us and give us a chance to resolve any issue with the product. If you decide to return the product, then return it undamaged, unused and in its original condition within 15 days and we will provide a full refund for the item(s). You are responsible for return shipping charges.

We may require photos of merchandise in use to help us understand the reason for return. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. 

We reserve the right to charge for shipping on replacement/exchange orders.

Terms of Sale

When you place an order you are offering to purchase a product, subject to these terms and conditions. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price.

(b) Pricing and Availability

Whilst we try and ensure that all details, descriptions and prices which appear on this Website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or canceling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.

(c) Payment

Once we  receive your order, we perform a standard authorization check on your credit or debit card to ensure there are sufficient funds to fulfill the transaction. Your card will be debited upon authorization being received. The monies received upon the debiting of your card shall be treated as a deposit against the value of the goods you wish to purchase. Once the goods have been shipped and you have been sent a confirmation email,  the funds paid as a deposit shall be used to pay for the value of goods you have purchased as listed in the confirmation page and/or email.

We aim to please and want to hear if you have any issue or problem. You agree to contact us at support@itraits.com if you have any issue that needs addressing. Although we cannot promise that we can solve every issue or problem, we do try harder than most.

We fully support your right to comment on our business through third-party websites such as Yelp or Facebook. You agree to give us a reasonable chance to address your concerns before making public comment, and to modify such comments if we are able to satisfy your concerns.

Entire Agreement

The above Terms, Conditions and Policies constitute the entire agreement of the parties and supersede any and all preceding and contemporaneous agreements between you and itraits.com.
